Colon Cleanse with Friends – Day 61

Yes, I’m still going (at least until my Colonix runs out). I’m like the Engergizer Colon. Anyway, I woke up this morning without the urge to make a deposit.

6:25am     4 Paranil pills
6:40am     2 scoops of Colonix Intestinal Cleanser
7:45am     Smoothie
9:00am     1st Movement – huge floating snake with faint odor
10:20am   Apple
12:45pm   Tuna melt with a carrot, apple, parlsey drink
3:00pm     2nd Movement – another huge floating snake with very dark floaters and mucous
3:50pm     Probar
7:30pm     Turkey meatballs and pasta
11:15pm   Natural Calm

Overall: You may be wondering what Natural Calm is and why I replaced the Kleritea with it. Well, I’m trying to change things up with the Kleritea and I don’t want to go down the path of constantly increasing the steep time and developing what I believe to be an immunity to it.

I took the Natural Calm to help me sleep as I haven’t been getting restful sleep for sometime.

I’ve taken Natural Calm before to combat my restless leg syndrome (yes, it’s a real syndrome). I haven’t had an episode of restless leg in quite some time and haven’t had the need to take the Natural Calm. Basically it’s just magnesium citrate and what the magnesuim does is it relaxes your body’s muscles. Another thing it does is if you take too much you can crap your pants. So to make a long story longer that’s why I took some Natural Calm.

I only had two movements for the day (what?), but the amount that came out of those two movements was immense. I’m guessing the increase in fiber from 1 1/2 scoops to 2 scoops might have been the reason for the descrease in number and increase in volume. I drank plenty of water today and everything else was normal so I’m putting my money on the fiber increase.

Well… I gave it a shot. I tried it for just under two weeks, but today, this afternoon, as of within the last hour, I’m DONE. Yeah, I don’t need blood coming from that part of me…. thanks anyway. (Yes, I verified that it was indeed coming from inside of my GI tract, rather that from outside or my “female-zone.”)

I expect a full refund for my return though. So: Pros- got junk out of G.I. tract, refund. Cons- bleeding, out shipping charges… Assuming the bleeding does not continue, I guess it might be a washout… we’ll see.
Yes, I subscribe to the theory that “Red means Stop.”

Yeah… so, just under two weeks on colonix and I’m THROUGH… Bloody evacuations this afternoon… excessive evacuations today (SEVEN including an oversized one containing blood just a bit ago)… this evening started feeling ill… upset bowels, sweating, sore throat, headache, etc.
I’ll be better soon, but the colonix system is being sent back for a refund.

I have been entertained by your blow by blow experience with Colonix. I definately want to try it but have some concerns – I am a runner and I currently run 50-60 miles a week and will be pushing it to 70-80 in the fall….I’m afraid I’m going to lose too much energy in this process. Your thoughts, comments and prayers are welcome.

    Hey David,

Thanks for the post. To answer your question I don’t think you’ll have to worry about losing any energy or becoming fatigued while using Colonix.

I found the program to be gentle (not as intense as a colonic)and I felt no noticeable energy drain if I remember correctly.

I would say that you may have to time your deposits around your running so you don’t have an accident.

Good luck on your cleansing adventure!

Just curious if you heard of any one that became dependant over the colonix program once theyve completed it (as in, they couldnt poop as well/often as before). Some of the ingredients found in the program (Senna leaf, Buck Thorn Bark, & Rhubarb Root) are dependency forming laxitive agents, which is making me really hesitant to try it:( Have you noticed ANY changes after you completed your supply?

  6. Mr. Monkey Says:

    Hi Stephanie,

I personally have not heard of that happening. I havent’ used the product for sometime now and I am fine. I haven’t noticed any ill effects after completing the Colonix program.

I’ve read that colon cleansing could cause the colon to become “lazy” and not work properly afterwards, but again I don’t know of this happening to anyone I know.

I would say that anything to excess is bad including too much colon cleansing.
