Melanoma Surgery – Day 18
Hi ho a healing we must go! I’ve been diligent with my Neosporin and I’ve made an appointment with my dermatologist for this Thursday to see what she can do about minimizing the scar.
The tightness in my face and neck is letting up and my face is feeling more or more like my face of old. I still have difficulty turning my head to the left though.
I was cleaning my scar the other day and I felt something behind my ear. After further investigation I discovered that they had missed a stitch! I was going to try to remove it myself, but working in a mirror can be tricky. I’ll just wait until I see the dermatologist in a couple of days.
The numbness is still present, but diminishing a bit and the shooting pains haven’t occurred for the past few days. Here I am in all my Neosporin covered glory, enjoy:
