Melanoma Surgery – Day 64
Thought I’d stop in and give everybody an update on my scar. It’s been a couple of weeks since my last post and my scar is still moving along (healing) slowly.
I’m still using Mederma and I’ve been placing the silicone patch on the back part of my scar in the hopes that it would catch up to the front part. It’s hard to tell from the photographs, but I think it did help in catching the back part of my scar with the front. I’m going to switch the silicone patch back between the front and back from now on.
I still don’t have any feeling in the “horseshoe” area and I have a slight bit more mobility as I can turn my head to my left farther than a month ago.
